Hi All patrons,

If you noticed the PutraClimb site has undergone major reconstruction in the last few weeks. This is in line with our migration from the Google Sites platform into a more useful and user friendly, not to mention visitor friendly interface. This new look is aimed at giving PutrClimb a more magazine feel to it, which is the direction we want the site to move toward.

There shall be ongoing modifications to it as we discuss how better to structure the site. We appreciate comments as usual… and we apologies for the ongoing efforts now which may seem a bit [...]

Thanks to Jeremy Peet for alerting me that the email was broken. Am still not sure what actually happened. Servers out there on the internet often do things beyond our comprehension. Something to do with some domain forwarding going wrong and what not. Not too sure why it was working before if thats the case.

Anyway, a temporary solution has been found and we can receive mails again at putra@putraclimb.com. If you had sent us something in the past and it bounced, much apologies for that. Please resend the write up, pictures or videos or anything.

After some discussions with our branding consultant (actually it was a well meaning friend), we thought that a new look to the site was needed to bring it forward in the direction that we wanted Putraclimb.com to go. And so, with some effort and some time, we have set up this new site to better deliver on our future vision for this site. Sadly the old site had severe limitations as to what we could achieve with it, and the limitations were starting to reveal themselves as we tried to expand the site to include other areas of interest. After many hours and days of frustrated attempts at getting Google Sites to work well, we have given up the effort and paid for some hosted space to install WordPress. This new site format that you see now is running on a WordPress engine and we hope that it will deliver a much more rewarding experience than the Google Sites site we used previously.

We can say that we are very much relieved to have a better platform where we will continue our efforts to form a social site for climbing activities in the region. The next few days [...]

www.putraclimb.com is currently being migrated to a new platform using wordpress.

Hopefully soon we shall have it up and running and move all content from the previous Google Sites page.
