Hey guys,
Thank you very much for the info. I am very much looking forward to give it a shot and most likely will drive down to KL for that Charity Climb. Am trying to get some group of people coming with me as it is not just for the fun of it, it’s also for a good cause. I’ll work things out at my end and hopefully I can make it this weekend.
Thanks again.
Cheers,
Laily
Hi Laily Aziz,
It’s good to hear that you have such a interest in rock climbing. However, i have no idea is there a rock climbing training area (gym) located in Ipoh. But, rock climbing is in fact quite famous sport in Tambun (the lost world of tambun). A lot of climber always make trip to Tambun for out rock climbing. But again, i’m not sure is there regular climber that always climb in Tambun or not.
Anyway, if u really interested, u can always come to KL. Right here we got Indoor climbing gym that is suitable for your 1st exposure in rock climbing.
Cheers

Nice to Meet you Laily.
We welcome you as part of our community and will contact you when we go to Ipoh next.

Hey there Putra,
I moved back to Ipoh about a year ago and I am very keen to go into wall or rock climbing and I’m wondering if you could help me with where to go in Ipoh for a training (I have never done it in all my life but I have always been thinking of doing it). It is one of my new year’s resolution and I’ve listed it down on the ‘things I want to do before I die’ so it is kinda important for me. I have been trying to look for it (guide for newcomers) here, but to no avail. I would be very glad if you could guide me through this. Thanks. Cheers, Laily.
Hi All,
In response to your comments I have created a login section for members. Members can register has subscribers, or authors.
We would prefer to build the community of authors who will write about climbs. If you wish to do this, please sign up as a subscriber first, and send us an email.
We can discuss the details later on.

Hei Jason,
Thanks for the suggestion. Perhaps I can see how this can be done. As for now, my suggestion that people offer help for writeups and pictures is through contribution via email. A further step is to incorporate you into Putraclimb and give you a login and password for you to contribute directly as part of the team.
Regards,
putra
Hey … good job on the site … somehow stumbled on it from god-knows-where when I wasn’t even looking for climbing stuff! Will help spread the word !
BTW – how does someone contribute stuff to the site ? You should have a page for uploading pics, or beta, or stories or even a discussion forum ;p !
Hmm… Thats a good suggestion Boo.
We will try to accommodate this request when time permits.
Perhaps you can include a guide for new comers or how to get started if i am interested in this new hobby in your website.
First of all, i would like to thank putraclimb.com in providing this platform for all of the climbers in Malaysia and Singapore to share our information on climbing. And i’m sure that putraclimb.com will be a useful tool for all climbers.
I will do my best to contribute to the climbing community in Malaysia…
I think we also need people to help us to spread this website around, so that more climbers and public can get benefit from this website.
